Refund Policy

1. Refund Eligibility

To be eligible for a refund, your request must meet the following criteria:

  • The request is made within 30 days of the original purchase date
  • You have not completed more than 30% of the course content
  • No certificate of completion has been issued for the course
  • The refund request is for the original purchase price only

2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

Email us at support@moderntechacademy.com with the subject line "Refund Request - [Your Order Number]".

Provide Required Information

Include your full name, email address used for purchase, order number, and reason for the refund request.

Processing

We'll review your request and respond within 3-5 business days. Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days.

3. Refund Processing Time

Once your refund is approved, please allow the following time for the refund to appear in your account:

Credit/Debit Cards

5-10 business days

PayPal

3-5 business days

Bank Transfer

7-14 business days

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are not eligible for refunds:

  • Courses with completed certificates
  • Downloadable resources or course materials
  • Subscription renewals after the initial 30-day period
  • Bundled courses if any course in the bundle has been completed
  • Gift purchases after they've been redeemed

5. Subscription Cancellations

For subscription-based courses, you may cancel your subscription at any time:

  • Monthly Subscriptions: Cancel before your next billing cycle to avoid future charges.
  • Annual Subscriptions: You may cancel within 30 days for a full refund. After 30 days, cancellation will be effective at the end of your current billing period.
  • Free Trials: Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged.

To cancel your subscription, log in to your account, go to Account Settings > Subscriptions, and follow the cancellation instructions.

6. Special Circumstances

In certain cases, we may make exceptions to our standard refund policy:

If you experience a serious medical emergency that prevents you from completing the course, please contact our support team with appropriate documentation. We may issue a partial or full refund at our discretion.

If you're relocated for work and can no longer complete the course, we may issue a partial refund or course credit. Documentation may be required.

If you experience persistent technical issues that prevent you from accessing or completing the course, please contact our support team. We'll work to resolve the issues or provide a refund if we cannot resolve them in a timely manner.

7. Course Quality Guarantee

Our Promise to You

We stand behind the quality of our courses. If you complete a course and feel it didn't meet your expectations, please contact us within 14 days of course completion. We'll work with you to address your concerns, which may include additional support, course credit, or in some cases, a partial refund.

Note: Refund requests are processed Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays. Requests received on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.
